Head Customization Support from KUMADOLL
We often receive inquiries from customers about various customization requests. At KUMADOLL, our mission is to bring your fantasies to life—turning the dream doll in your imagination into reality.
1. Head Sculpt Customization
Please note that makeup alone cannot alter the fundamental facial structure of an existing doll head.
If you wish to change the shape of the mouth, nose, ears, or eye sockets, a completely new head mold will be required.
Custom mold sculpting offers the highest level of freedom, allowing us to recreate unique features based on your vision. However, it also involves a longer production time and higher costs compared to standard customization.
Here is an outline of the custom head sculpting process:
① Please provide us with clear photos or videos of the face you’d like to replicate. We will use this as reference to begin the sculpt.
② A clay prototype will be created based on your reference. Photos of the clay model will be sent for your confirmation, and any needed revisions will be made.
③ Once the final clay model is approved, we will create a mold and cast the final silicone head.
④ Makeup will be applied, and we will send photos for your approval. After confirmation, the makeup will be sealed.
⑤ If you’ve chosen hair implantation, it will be completed at this stage.
⑥ After all final confirmations, the product will be shipped from the factory.
⑦ Your custom doll head will be delivered to you.
⚠️ Important Note: The final result can achieve approximately 80–90% likeness to the reference images. Due to material and production limitations, 100% accuracy cannot be guaranteed.

2. Skin Tone Customization
Not all manufacturers support skin tone customization. We recommend contacting us before placing your order to confirm whether your request can be fulfilled.
Sanhui has extensive experience in custom skin tone work. If you already own a doll body from another brand and prefer a Sanhui head, they can adjust the skin tone of their head to match your other doll free of charge. However, you must provide a physical skin tone sample from the other brand — photos alone are not accurate enough for precise matching.
If you're looking for fantasy skin tones such as yellow, blue, or green, Sanhui can accommodate these for an additional fee.
CLM offers a high degree of flexibility in custom skin tone creation. Their color matching is precise, and they work from Pantone color codes. After you provide a Pantone number, they will create a sample. If you're not satisfied with the first sample, they offer up to two free adjustments. Production will only begin after your final confirmation.

3. Makeup Customization
SHEDOLL excels at capturing fine makeup details. Their makeup artists are highly skilled and have an advanced aesthetic sense. If you provide a reference photo of a real-life makeup look, they can closely replicate it.
For anime or game character makeup, they’ll use a “realistic cosplay” approach to adapt the look for your doll. SHEDOLL also supports custom eye color, which helps bring your vision to life even more accurately.

4. Clothing Customization
We accept clothing customization requests; however, there are limitations. The process can take 3 to 6 months, depending on complexity. Please contact us via email to discuss feasibility before placing an order.
If you want a popular character outfit, we may be able to source ready-made costumes or offer semi-custom options using digital patterns.
5.Wig Customization
If you're a cosplay enthusiast, we collaborate with professional wig stylists who can create custom wigs tailored to your doll.
Production time for custom wigs is about 1 month. Once production starts, we’ll confirm the wig’s details and options with you.
Since the wig is shipped separately from the head, there will be an additional shipping fee, which may vary depending on wig size and packaging volume.

6.Implanted Hair Customization
CLM can customize hair color and hairline based on your design. You can choose your preferred hair color and request specific hairline shapes.
SEDOLL can find a hair color that closely matches your request and trim it to your desired style. Ideal for clients who want a fully styled, implanted hair look.
